welcome!
|

Hi there!! Thanks so much for stopping by! We are atlanta based photographers, and we have created this place for you to visit as often as you would like to be updated and posted on all our adventures!
There are a lot of cool things that hopefully will help you get to know us better! There is a category section, so if you are looking for something specific you can choose the category that will help you get there. Our resource link will take you to all our websites, for the client tab which takes you to helpful timelines and our FAQ section, and a link to all the wonderful people we have met along the way in the industry( that part COMING SOON)! There is a "where's alea" that is updated to let you know where we are at that moment, so if we are in your neighborhood give us a call and we can stop by! We also have a place for you to leave comments to tell us what you think! We LOVE comments, so don't ever hesitate to leave one! wink wink!
Lastly, and my favorite part, if you hit the refresh button, our header has rotating images- I love seeing what pops up everytime!
I think that's about it! OH! A huge thank you to all our wonderful couples who you see floating around the photos- we love filling the pages with your photos because without you it would just be a bunch of text. Also, a wonderful thank you and tremendous compliments to Brock Martin of infinet design who helped us create such a cool place to visit.
Thank you to all our friends, visitors... stalkers! You are the ones who make this so fun, and we are so greatful that you would stop by to check on us!
cheers!

Hogan Family!!

Hi Friends!
Happy July! Are any of you like me and can't believe that it is July already! I was sure getting to this month would be like getting to the end of time... but sure enough here it is!! And it doesn't look like time will be ending any time soon... because it is already noon.
Well, to start the month off I am thrilled to share some photos of my dear friends the Hogan's. We had been planning this shoot for a few weeks to celebrate Kate turning one, again during the time where it was raining so much that we had a hard time deciding whether or not to go out and venture the shoot. Even on this day, we planned our shoot down at Serenbe and wouldn't you know it rained!!! But it didn't stop us, and I think the photos came our fabulous!!
Hogan's, I had a great time running around the gorgeous fields, "downtown" areas, and visiting the barns with you guys! Thanks for letting me be a part of such a unique time in your lives. Your little girl is one, can you believe it! And getting bigger by the minute!! :) Hope the photos make you smile over and over!!
Much joy,
alea

Donley Family!

Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday to you!!
***A real quick studio announcement! We will be closed for the Holiday on Thursday, Friday, and Monday!*** We actually will be photographing an awesome wedding on the 4th, and already can't wait to share the photos. For that reason, we are spending some good time with our families for those days! We will be returning on Tuesday, and will be happy to help with any and all photography needs!!!
OK! Now for some photo sharing! We went up to Athen's to meet with the Donley family, honestly I will say, it probably was right at that time when it started to get really really hot but was still raining every day. We were so worried about it raining that I think we didn't notice how hot is was going to be! haha.
Despite all that, we had a great time and I am so thrilled with the photos!! I mean what's a photo session without a little adventure!!
Donley's, I hope you love the photos and they make you smile from ear to ear! Thank you for having us up to Athen's and spending a crazy hot afternoon with us! ;)
Enjoy!

Christina + Kevin

I had such a busy morning today with a family session and was feeling a little tired from a long weekend but had to perk up when I got a sweet treat surprise!! It's always a great day when Alea decides to make cupcakes!!! :) So after my sugar rush, I was excited to sit down and share a new wedding with you guys!!!!
Christina and Kevin are such a happy couple!! Both of them were so calm and cute before the ceremony and were just ready to get married. Seeing them apart made me really want to see them together :) They had an afternoon wedding at The Vinings Club and I must say that there is no better view in Atlanta!! I think my favorite part of the day was the ceremony right in front of the floor to ceiling windows!! Gorgeous!
Christina & Kevin - your wedding was so lovely and we were so happy to be part of your day! Thank you for being so sweet and I hope this little sneak peek was worth the wait!! I know that you guys are so excited to see the blog because you even called from Hawaii!! I think you were even on the way out the door to go snorkeling!! (jealous :)
Enjoy!

Everybody needs a little cobbler
|

Despite all of the work Alea and I are swimming in, we can always find a little time to eat dessert! A few days ago one of Alea's lovely friends brought over a peach and berry cobbler for a treat. After having one bite of Amber's AMAZING cobbler, I think I have been thinking about cobbler every second after!! So... what I want to have for breakfast, lunch and dinner,.... is cobbler. How about blackberry cobbler with ice cream?
You should try it!! It's AWESOME!!!!
Enjoy!!
EASY BLACKBERRY COBBLER
1/2 c. butter
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen blackberries, thawed
Melt butter in a 2 quart casserole. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in a small mixing bowl, mix well. Pour mixture over melted butter, do not stir. Spoon blackberries over batter; do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown. |
