Sara + Will
|

Definitely one of the coolest things about our job is the people we get to meet along the way! I often say how cool it is to have a job where the people you meet are all new friends, and people you would be so thrilled to hang out with on a regular basis. That type of relationship really is priceless, and such a perk to the already awesome "I am a photographer" that I get to say every day!
All that to say, Sara and Will were just a joy to get to spend an afternoon with. When we were done we couldn't believe we had spent 2 hours together- time really does fly when you are having fun! Sara has the most infectious smile and laugh, and Will had both of us laughing pretty much the entire time.
Sara and Will you guys were so fun, and i really can't wait until the wedding to spend an entire day with you guys! CAN"T WAIT!!
Hope you love the photos!!
Cheers!

Kimberly + Brent
|

Our couples have been so lucky this winter with all the gorgeous weather. Kimberly and Brent got married on the first day of December and I have never seen the sky so blue! They definitely picked the most perfect day to tie the knot!
I had been to Augusta once years ago but had forgotten what a cool old city it was. When Alea and I drove into town, I was so happy to see the old church where Kimberly and Brent's ceremony would be. The big red doors out front just made my day. After their beautiful ceremony we drove just a few miles down the street to an old fire house where the reception would be. Again, the big red doors just made my day :)
Kimberly and Brent - Your love for your families and your love for each other was so present that day. It was lovely to photograph such a special day and we wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
Enjoy!

Katie + Brandon

We photographed katie and brandon's wedding in Amelia island, FL. It was absolutely the most beautiful little island to visit, and we highly encourage it. Their ceremony was in this church with an amazing old sanctuary where the floor creaked as you walked on it. During the afternoon the sun just glowed through all the stained glass windows, and made the entire room filled with the sun. Talk about setting the scene for the place you will say "I do".
Their reception was at what normally is a restaurant called PLAE (stands for People Laughing and Eating), but they had reserved the evening for Brandon and Katie and all their friends and family. I will say they had by far the best food I had ever eaten at a wedding. Compliments to the chef!
Katie and Brandon- thank you so much for your non-stop hospitality. We had the most wonderful time with you both and all your family and friends- who treated us so wonderfully. We loved getting to be a part of the most special day in your lives. I absolutely LOVED getting to take photos with you in downtown, and loved our sneak away to the beach! Here's to many more trips to Amelia, and a lifetime of lots of love!
Cheers to you both!

| that if you went to any Georgia news stand and picked up a "the knot- Georgia" magazine... you would get to see this! |

that's right! That's one of our weddings- featured in the coolest wedding magazine out there!
a marvelous thank you to Rebecca and Carly and the rest of the gang at the knot for the most wonderful two pieces of paper I have ever seen!
If you haven't already, get your copy of their Spring/Summer issue! |

Teresa + Steve

I love it when our couples really break out of the norm! Teresa and Steve's wedding was filled with touches of their own personal style. Although the ceremony and reception had a traditional feel, they were definitely not afraid to break the rules!
The first thing that really stood out to me as memorable was the music. As Teresa walked down the aisle to Bauhaus, Bela Lugosis Dead, I thought to myself, "I love this song!" That's when I realized how fun this wedding was going to be. Another really cute thing was the cupcakes in the shape of a cake! Not only were the cupcakes in 3 amazing different flavors but there were little skeleton bride and grooms hidden in them. How original is that!
Our favorite thing about Teresa and Steve's wedding though was the PHOTO BOOTH! They had a real photo booth for their guests to dress up in different costumes and take silly pictures as the wedding favors. Alea and I have been to so many weddings and have never seen a photo booth! We both agree that it was the coolest wedding favor yet!
Teresa and Steve - It was so obvious that everyone really loved being part of your wedding day. Alea and I had so much fun with you both and truly loved being part of your day as well. Thank you so much for being so cool!!
We hope you all enjoy!
