Hi Friends!!
Hope all of you are fabulous this friday! I tell ya our lil' ol' studio has been a buzzing! So much to do with of course so little time. We are so grateful to all of you who are keeping us busy, and love the privilege of sharing with you little glimpses in your story!! All that said, i have two things on my agenda for this post! One, is to announce the happy winner of our New Year "tell me your word" contest. Are you excited!!! hee hee! Firstly, thank you all who shared their word and what they were hoping to accomplish using their word!! We loved reading them, and well, really had a hard time choosing which our favorite one was!! But after much debate, we have decided on our favorite!!!
OK!! here it goes... the winner and the word is.... PERSPECTIVE Congrats Ashley!
As for your prize, Kim and I, have a few ideas that we wanted to do, but couldn't decide bc we wanted to make sure the prize fit the person perfectly! So, without knowing exactly who each of you were or where you were, we thought, you now could tell us, along with picking a category that you perhaps might be most interested in!
So, if you wouldn't mind sending me an email with your info, and letting us know if you would most prefer to-

Second on the agenda, is sharing photos from Sara and Will's fabulous wedding! Their wedding took place up in Gainesville, GA, in this gorgeous church, that Kim and I have had actually been to three times before! Which is kind of funny to have been to an out of town church so many times! Anyway, you guys might remember Sara and Will from their ROCK'EN engagement session we had with them over a year ago! I love Sara and Will's story, high school sweet hearts, such a rarity these days! The amazing part to me, is the way they looked at each other, it looked like they had this spring romance. Still so in love, like just telling each other for the first time.
Sara and Will, thank you so much for allowing Kim and I to share in your day. It really was awesome to get to be a part of all your friends and family! Sara, you have the most infectious smile, and Will, you can make us laugh with just a look. It is so obvious why you have so many friends who care about you both! We wish you both lots of joy!! And of course, HAPPY PHOTOS!!

Lindsay and Todd

There is no better time to travel to St. Simons than in the winter time!! It's just enough warmer than here in Atlanta to toast you up a little and hold you over until spring :) Well, Lindsay and Todd definitely picked the perfect day for their wedding because it actually felt like spring!
They also chose the most amazing church for their ceremony. A high vaulted ceiling and a huge stain glass window right above the alter gave them the perfect setting for their vows. One of my favorite parts of our day was just sitting on my knees in the isle taking photos as they were married.
Congratulations Lindsay and Todd!!! Alea and I had such a fabulous time with you both and wish you a lifetime of fabulous photos!!!

Old Friends

Hi there! I hope you all are having a fabulous Friday! It's still gloomy out but hopefully I can brighten someone's day with these cutie cousins!
Over the holidays I got a great phone call from my old friend Terri Ann. We grew up together just a few houses away from each other and probably got into way to much trouble together!! I was completely honored when she asked me to take photos of her son Andrew and her niece and nephew Sherry and Josh. It was so cool to see them all because it had been years and believe it or not, I actually remember when Sherry was born! That doesn't make me old was it??
Most photos taken before Christmas usually end up in a box with bright wrapping and curly bows around them and these were no different! Sherry actually made the comment that this was her second gift to her grandmother. Her first gift was going to be a box of tissues :)
I had so much fun with these guys and truly hope that we don't let so many years go by before we do this again!!

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday to all of you! hopefully on this dreary monday we can warm your little toes by imaging them in the sand after looking at these photos from our beach wedding! Though one of my promises to myself was to be a little more decisive of the photos for our posts, I just had an incredibly hard time! AS USUAL! My argument was they brought their dog with them! So, it was hard, just too hard. Needless to say, there are a lot. But in my opinion they are ALL fabulous!
The wedding was at the gorgeous Cloister in Sea Island, GA. The location truly was breathtaking! Of course with every outdoor wedding you have that moment of "is it going to rain?", but sure enough it stayed perfect the entire day! I have to say my favorite part of the day, side from the puppy, was their farewell! An incredible display of giant sparklers that went off as they drove away in the cutest little red car-(sorry guys, i'm a girl, and know it was some sort of cool sportscar, that I am doing injustice by calling it cute)! ANYWAY, It was like a scene from a romantic movie!
J + S, thank you so much for allowing us to spend the day with you both! What wonderful adventures we had! I hope the photos take you back to that spectacular winter day! We wish you both lots of joy, and a fabulous life together!

Well, Hello friends!!
Hope this blog is finding all of you cheery! Being in the new year officially for just about 2 weeks, hopefully there has been lots of exciting adventures for each of you! I am excited to be doing the first official blog of the new year! Yeah, I know 2 weeks later! We had just been trying to get caught up on all the millions of friends who contacted us over the break! Hopefully by now each of you feel satisfied with a response! if for some reason, you haven't received yours, please please contact us again! Email space has a tendency to suck things into it's hole, and I would be very sad to have missed you! Thanks again to all of you for your patience!
So with every new year there comes lots of wonderful ideas for how this new year is going to be even better then the last! And, let me tell ya, I AM EXCITED! This year after stealing the idea from a good friend, we have decided to use one word to describe what we want our year to encompass. Our word for 2009 is Dimension! Isn't that a great word!?! Here are my two favorite definitions of the word!!
Dimension- the range over which or the degree to which something extends : scope
OR
one of the elements or factors making up a complete personality or entity.
Now, I know you are thinking how are you going to have more dimension, alea???
Well, my friend it is very easy! We here at AMP have this very long list of items we have been dying to try, have, offer, experience, share, grow on, and be apart of. Our goal this year is to go through our crazy fun list! Ill share what is on that list in the next few posts. But, what I would love to do is offer a fun little game. I would love to hear if you were to describe what you would want your 2009 to encompass in one word what would it be? In the little comment box below, let me know your word, and a very very quick reason why. Kim and I will pick our favorite word and reason and that friend will get a cutie little prize! How bout it, what's your word!??
On the topic of dimension, we have had a fabulous intern working with us for the past couple months. Some of you may have already met her, while others, not yet, but hopefully soon. But, I have been slack in introducing her to the world! I am thrilled to introduce Karen Ann to you! She is our fabulous intern that is helping keep us sane and tackling just about everything we throw at her! Karen Ann loves apple sauce, hats, anything that sparkles, macaroni and cheese, and well of course photo-ing with us!! She is this awesome free spirit and brings that extra surprise every time we see her! If you meet her along the way, please say hi!
