Happy Halloween!!
|

Wow, I can't believe this is Loa's third halloween! Halloween really is one of my favorite holidays. Not so much the spook-ing part as much as I love the costume part. Especially when we get to put a costume on my two year old! She is just to stinking cute. I am reserving the right to officially call my child cute- i know there is some sort of cooth behind actually saying it, but you know- I am going to say it! She is so cute! This year we decided to dress Loa like a monkey!! It was absolutely hilarious because she makes the best monkey noises... the oooo, ahahahah. she loved getting to go door to door, and got pretty good at saying trick or treat.. it sounded more like "terek wor weat". But our neighbors didn't seem to mind, and filled her plastic pumpkin anyway!
thought id share some photos, hope they make you smile as much as they made me!
happy halloween!

Page + Matt
|

Page and Matt were our couple that got married here in Atlanta on September 22. It was just an amazing city wedding with a wedding party of 15 and a grand reception at the Fox Theater. It was definitely a full day but all of their friends and family were so welcoming and so much fun to work with!
One of the coolest things was that they got to see their names in lights on the Fox marquise! It was awesome! A congratulations with their names and date was up all day. That night as Page and Matt exited the reception, a police officer stopped traffic on Peachtree Street so they could run across to the other side to see it before they started their honeymoon. They were so excited.
Page and Matt, thank you both so much for asking Chad and I to photograph your wedding. It was a pleasure to get to hang out with you all day! I hope that all of our weddings are as great as yours was! Enjoy your photos!!

the great pumpkin!
|

So, every year we have a tradition to visit Burt's pumpkin farm with our dear friends the womack's! This farm is incredible and we have such a blast every year! We go and pick our pumpkins, listen to some bluegrass, and always enjoy a cup of their famous apple cider! This year was very cool for us because it was the first year that Loa really understood what we were doing, and she loved all the pumpkins!
I still really can't believe the Fall is in full swing, and it is approaching the end of October! Next month thanksgiving, the next Christmas!! Whew... how time really flies... especially when you are having fun!!
Happy Fall to all of you!! Enjoy the photos!

Vanessa + Matt
|

Vanessa and Matt were our California couple that got married here in Atlanta at the Piedmont Room at Piedmont Park. Their wedding was on one of the few days of the summer that we got rain so we were afraid we wouldn't get to take pictures in the park, but it stopped just in time for us to get some of these amazing shots.
A really cool thing about Vanessa was that she wore bright red heals with her wedding dress and her something blue was a monogram on the bottom of them. She used tiny blue stones that she said was Matt's idea! Good Job Matt!
We had a blast with them the whole evening. Their family and friends were all so great and really knew how to have a good time!
Vanessa and Matt- Thanks so much for letting us hang out with you all day. You both were so much fun and your kindness definitely didn't go unnoticed. Enjoy all your photos! We had a hard time picking our favs!! haha.
Blessings, Alea and Kim |
