Melanie and Cameron- I just wanted to thank you both so very much for allowing Kim and I to hang out with you guys all day! I truly hope that your photos take you back to each and every moment. It was such a wonderful thing to see how your entire family and all your friends were there to help in every way and were such a huge part in all the special touches!

Fun Families!
|

Hi All!
I just have to say that Fall is my favorite season! I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see all the leaves change and to feel the air getting so crisp. The past few years have been so colorful I am so in love with it. All the bright leaves make it so easy to have a beautiful background for our photography!
Another thing I love is big happy families! I met Angie and her family in Athens a couple weekends ago and just had the best time. We all got together one morning and just hung out. I got to spend time with each individual family getting to know them and then everyone all together. It was really a cool session. All the kids (and adults) had the best time lying in the leaves and throwing them at each other and at me! It was great to spend time such a fun family! I hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Sarah + Denny
|

I know that I mentioned that we are a little behind on our posting, but a little aid to that was that we had 8 weddings in October! They were all 8 awesome weddings, so i am so glad that we were there for each of them, but it does add for a little hectic-ness in editing!! That means we are editing over 10000 photos! hahaha!
Absolutely one of my favorite weddings in October was Sarah and Denny's! They are just one of the sweetest couples I have ever met, and I had meet denny and sarah while I was secretly photographing their proposal that Sarah's mom set up! What a cool mom and fiance to be to set something up like that! I loved so much getting to be there that day, and loved getting to be there the day of their wedding!
They had their wedding at the Banquet Hall of Alvaton. The location was just beautiful, and everything was planned so wonderfully! Denny is from Britain, and all his family was in from across the pond! We loved having the british accent around all day! As always, we had a really hard time picking our favorites for the blog, so we just posted a bunch!
Sarah and Denny- thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such special moments in your lives! We truly hope the photos will take you both back to all those moments! You both and your families were so wonderful to Kim and I, and you both made us feel like a part of your families! We wish you both lots of love and joy! Enjoy that photos!!
Cheers!
Alea |

| Denny is a pro golfer! So we thought this shot would be appropriate! |

| The Hall was absolutely beautiful! |

| Sarah and her dad right before they walked down the aisle. |

| I really love the monogram as the cake topper!! Very cool idea! |

Why a bridal session?
|

One of my most frequently asked questions is "what is a bridal session?". And that is usually followed by "why should I do a bridal session?". I would LOVE to take a second to answer this and have some awesome examples to show you! A bridal session is a time where the bride to be gets to put on her dress, get hair and make up done, and well- try it all out before the big day! With the help of a pro photographer create photographs that you wouldn't be able to get the day of. I am sure most of you have for the most part really only seen yourself in your dress in the bridal boutique or alterations shop. I would imagine that most of you don't go to a bridal shop with your hair and make up done the way you would wear it on your wedding. Or maybe you would! I know wearing veils and tiaras can be fun! haha... sorry back on topic! I would also say 95% of my brides come back to me saying they were so glad they were able to see photographs because there was something that they wanted to change. Hair down instead of up, a little more or a little less make up. It was a great opportunity for you to really see how it all will come together.
Besides all that, which might be reason enough, we get to create some awesome photos! Gone are the days with photos of the bride with her hand under her chin! No offense if you really like that or if you have a portrait done like that. I just mean that a wedding dress deserves to have some fun! Like in my photos i am about to share, we took melanie out to this old run down mansion in the Highlands. I know most of you wouldn't take your wedding dress to place that even began with the word run down! But why not!! Melanie in her gown made everything look absolutely stunning and for lack of a better word ... simply ...beautiful. We had a fantastic time throughout the entire property, and well I think melanie looks like a rock star! Hope this inspires you to put on your dress, and lets go take photos!!

Marya + Steve
|

Kim and i ventured out early that morning to head up to Choata Falls in Clayton GA. What a beutiful little place tucked away in the N. georgia mountains, and it was a perfect day to get married!! The sky had these amazing puffy clouds that passed over the already color changing trees on the mountain!
I was so thrilled because this was the first time I met Steve and Marya because they did all their planning long distance from California. They are two of the sweetest, kindest, most genuine people one could ever meet. And after just spending the day with them, you can see why they were truly an amazing match and perfect for each other!
Their wedding was just beautiful- the ceremony was at the base of a waterfall. What a wonderful place to say I Do! After the ceremony, Steve Marya and Kim and I went to the top of the mountain to a place called the treehouse. It was so magical, and just absolutely beautiful. We were so excited to be able to take pictures there! We had such a blast, and the rest of the evening was full of other magical moments!
Marya and Steve- being at your wedding was such a blessing and we thank you so much for the honor. The entire day was absolutely stunning and I thank you for trusting us to capture every detail and moment. We wish you both lots more magical moments!
Cheers! Alea
One of my favorite parts of the day was Marya's dress! It was so ornate and unlike any dress I have seen... |

| the setting of the waterfall was just captivating... |

| at the top of the treehouse! |

| they had so many fun details! marya made pear jam as their favors. which is ROCK'EN good! |

| Also, Marya's grandmother got them a 50 layer cake for 50 years marriage!! It was the tallest cake I have seen, and it was so cool to see the layers! Did I mention it tasted amazing.. YUM-O! |

| Their photo table was absolutely my favorite part! All the photos from all the family's generations was awesome to look through!! Plus the vintage cameras made me jealous!! |
