Chloe + Corey
|

You were all introduced to Chloe and Corey when Alea had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session last summer. Their sweet personalities just burst through the photos and I knew we would have such a fabulous time with the two of them once the wedding day finally rolled around. Chloe was so cool and calm just hanging out with her girls and cutting up before the ceremony and Corey had the biggest smile on his face the entire time. I think he had to force himself to give us a serious face for some of the pictures ;)
The day just felt amazing and we were so happy to be a part of it. The ceremony was beautiful and filled with heart felt words, and the reception....., well the reception was a blast! I always love it when the dance floor is packed the entire night and this was definitely one of those nights! Their friends and family really know how to have a party and I would love to be invited to the next one!!! haha!
Chloe and Corey, you both are such amazing people and it has been so much fun getting to know you throughout the year! Thank you so much for inviting us to spend such an important day with you! It was truly an awesome day!!
Enjoy!

| I thought this was so sweet. Her sister gave her the traditional something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. This was her special something old. |

| I know that we don't normally show you all a lot of family formals but this one we couldn't pass on! This is the largest family photo I think we have ever taken!! I love it so much and can just imagine Chloe and Corey looking at it 20 years down the road remembering how long it took to get everyone together and looking at the camera ;) |

| and I absolutely LOVE the grooms cake :) |

| We had to sneak this photo from between two guys. It was so hard because Corey's fraternity surrounded Chloe so tight, as if they were protecting her, and sang her the sweetest song. It was so powerful and sounded almost like a prayer. It literally gave me chills. I think it was my favorite part of the night! |

| And then they went CRAZY!!!!! It was awesome!! |

meet baby braxton
|

Hi Friends!!
Another gloomy day outside, but hopefully a little cheer of a cutie little baby will make the day seem a little brighter! Cause I tell ya, there is nothing cuter then a baby, especially new ones! I love them, I love them all! I especially LOVE photographing them as well! As with every family session, you go in not knowing what exactly the baby will be like, and if they will be ok with a stranger coming in with a big black camera pointed right at them, often times invading a lot of their space, so more times then not, it takes a little warming up to for those rocken photos! But, I tell ya, Baby Braxton was probably one of the chill-est babies I ever met! I really don't think he cried one time, and seemed to enjoy the rock stardom of being photographed! I say, pretty well for a one month old!!
I had such a great time getting to hang out with this little family and meeting the grandma! We were also able to sneak in some nephew photos which I think were just adorable!!
Lisa, thank you for letting me come to home and photograph such a precious little man. I can see why he is such a joy to you, and i hope these photos will speak the volumes of the precious addition to your family!! So, like I said, i hope this brings all of you just a little smiley cheer on this dreary day!!
Joy to you!

some sunshine for us!

Hi friends!
Hope everyone is having a fabulous wednesday! I have to say I am having a fun fantastic day, and despite the rain feel like jumping in all the puddles! I got a super happy piece of mail today! A couple weeks ago, I was contacted by Brides Atlanta about the possibility of being featured in their magazine!! For some reason they thought our photos were terrific enough to be shared in their awesome magazine! I was floored and thrilled for the opportunity to share some photos and some insight to couples on how to take fabulous engagement photos!! As most of you know, I love getting to take engagement photos of my couples! It is such a great time to get to know each other and I feel such a valuable time for the couple to experience some "camera" time! Plus, the photos are just super cool cause we get to do whatever we want!!
I thought Brides Atlanta was super awesome for covering the topic, and letting me share a little about why I think it is super cool! I was really nervous when they were interviewing me, and totally knew I was going to sound like a nerd, but I think the folks at Brides made me sound like a rock star!! haha. I think they did a great job, and hopefully it helps you jump on the bandwagon if you are on the fence of doing them, or getting ready to do a session with us!!
So, because I am so happy, I thought I would share the happiness to some of you with a little game! The first person to send me a photo of them with their brides magazine in their hands will get a super cutie prize from me! The only rule is that the photo must be taken in an outside setting. I know it is raining but just find somewhere covered take the photo, send it to me, and I promise you'll love my little prize!!
Happy day to all of you!

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday to all of you!! It's a gorgeous day outside, so hopefully most of you have had the opportunity to be outside and enjoy what a beautiful day it is!! If not, you need to!! Go quick, then come back and read this post!! hee hee.
On the topic of gorgeous, I am so excited to share the photos from our fabulous Savannah wedding a couple weekends ago! We had such a terrific time with this couple and their wedding was just lovely! Their ceremony was at the cute Bethesda Church that Paula Dean was married in, and their reception was at Vic's on the River, on the Savannah River front.
My favorite part of the day, that actually carried through the entire day, was all of Monica's fantastic facial expressions! Girl, had so many that i couldn't keep count , and I loved them all! I hope I was able to portray some of them here for you!
I do have to admit that I actually had a least favorite part of this wedding.... I know i know... just hear me out, but during their portraits there was this massive infestation of gnats, the most I've ever seen in my life. It honestly was like a joke of how many there were, and this poor family stood their looking fabulous despite the crazy amounts of floating little biting bugs! Looking back at it, that was pretty hilarious, though at the time, not so funny.
Monica and Kevin, thank you so much for letting us enjoy this adventure with you both! We loved all your family and friends, loved getting to run around Savannah with you both visiting the largest and oldest tree to our run in with intoxicated green people. I would say all and all, such a fabulous day, so thanks!
Joy to you both!!
