Hi Friends!
Happy first day of June!! Wow, can you believe it! Another month has gone and a new one has arrived with tons of new adventures ahead!! It seems no matter what I do, the new months keep coming.
To start the new month, we have decided to try a little something new with our wedding blogs. The hope is to give all you who are planning your weddings a little bit of inspiration and tips from ones that have currently just finished with their weddings! Every post for a wedding will include not only fabulous photos, but a little bit of advice, tips, and joy from our fabulous couples!! :)
I am so thrilled to start these posts with Kendall and Nick's wedding! They did such an amazing job on their wedding, every last detail was awesome. Their wedding was at the Peachtree Road Methodist church and their reception was at East Lake. Both just stunning locations, and they had the help of Tulip Blooming Creations with their gorgeous flowers and details. We can honestly say we have never seen something we didn't like from the group at Tulip, and as always, they impressed us with just lovely pieces for Kendall and Nick's wedding!
To top it off, I will say one of my favorite parts of their wedding was finding this beautiful tree just off the golf course at east lake, that had dropped tons a beautiful white flowers on the ground! I loved that Kendall and Nick sat and even laid down so we could capture some of the prettiest photos yet. sigh....

Kendall and Nick, what an awesome party your wedding was! We had so much fun and were truly touched by your kindness. We can see exactly what you had so many people their celebrating with you both, and we loved being a part of how you'll remember such a fabulous day!
Hope the honeymoon in Europe was amazing!! Joy to you both!

Tips and Joy by Kendall and Nick!!
1. Where did you get your shoes?
Stuart Weitzman--the most comfortable shoes ever made!
2. What was the hardest thing, and what was the easiest thing about
your planning?
The hardest thing was all the decisions that had to be
made...
the easiest and most fun thing is finding the dress!!! : )
3. If you were to tell a bride and groom one thing, what would it
be?
Remember what this day is really about and don't stress out
about the details!!
4. How did you choose your band?
My husband found them and we chose them because they played a lot of motown in the beginning of the
night... And towards the end played more current rap and hip hop...
Everyone was on the dance floor!!

Diana + Jeff

Hi Friends!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Tuesday after memorial weekend! We really enjoyed our weekend with weddings, the beach, and actually getting to relax for a minute! ;) Can't wait to share all those photos! until then, I am so excited to share with you a few of our favorites from Diana and Jeff's wedding a few weeks ago!!

First, I have to give mad props to Ashley Barber for planning a fabulous wedding for such an awesome couple!! Cheers to you!!

We have had more than a few weddings at The Piedmont Room at Park Tavern and absolutely have loved them all. But... we were so excited to find out that Diana and Jeff were having their ceremony down in the garden and then moving on into The Tent for their reception!!! Being outside was such a nice treat for us and we loved every second of it. The chandeliers and lanterns under the tent made the space feel so special. It was absolutely gorgeous and to top it all off, they did the Tango for their first dance!! It was so awesome and I must say that it made for some pretty cool photos!!! Speaking of dancing, I have never seen a bride shake it down during the reception like Diana did!! She danced so much I was even tired at the end of the night from just watching her :)

Diana & Jeff - It was so wonderful to see the two of you together on your wedding day! You made everyone want to be next to the one they love :) Enjoy your sneak peek!!

Hi Friends!
Happy Friday!! It's memorial weekend! Whoo hoo!! We have a slammed packed weekend ahead of us! First, we are off to Athens for a wedding, and then down to St. Simon Island for a wedding on Sunday! We are stoked for the adventure!! As a quick announcement, we will be taking memorial day off, since we will be at the beach anyway, we thought we would enjoy the ocean while we could! So, we will be back on Tuesday fully anticipating your calls and emails! hee hee! :)
Until then, I am thrilled to share with you Catherine and Paul's e-session photos with you! This couple puts a smile on your face within seconds with their kindness and joy! We ventured out to their alumnus campus Georgia Tech, and found some fun spots for them to sport their smiles! I think they are all fabulous, so i can't wait to share them!!
Catherine and Paul, thank you so much for letting me get to know you both better. Knowing that Paul just flew in from California, I hope these are worth the no-nap and from the time you guys had during your weekend together!! I had a blast with you guys, and I can't wait til next April!!!

Emily + Brad

May 21, 2009 by Kimberly  -  Weddings

We have been so very lucky this year to have had tons of fabulous weddings in St. Simon's!! There is nothing better than a wedding at the beach :) Especially when we get to grab a super sweet cup of coffee and sit out on the beach for a few hours in the morning before the wedding!! Now that's how I like to start my day!!

You all know that we absolutely love all the girls at Events By Caroline and they rocked another wedding for Emily and Brad!! Awesome job ladies!!

The words out of our mouths when we drove up and saw this adorable little church were, "Please let that be it, please let that be it, please let that be our awesome little church!!!" And our prayers came true! Emily and Brad were married that afternoon in the Lovely Lane Chapel in St Simon's and it couldn't have been lovelier :) Another great thing that just made our day was when Emily and Brad told us they wanted to go to the pier right in the middle of town. There were tons of people enjoying their afternoon and I'm sure that us walking through with a bride and groom all dressed up was the most exciting thing that happened that day. Other than maybe a big fish story or two....

Emily and Brad - Alea and I had such a perfect Saturday with you two!! Thanks for being so adventurous and letting us drive you all around town! We had a blast!

Enjoy your sneak peek!!

Crystal + Brett

Hi Friends!
Whew! What a great slammed packed first day back!! I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your patience and being so kind to Kim last week! Kim shared with me all her wonderful adventures of the past week, and it seemed it to have gone pretty well! I am working diligently on getting back to each of you this week that need me, and If I hadn't gotten back to you today, it should definitely be tomorrow! That I promise with all my might! ;P
To start my week off, I am so thrilled to share our fabulous St. Simon wedding of Crystal and Brett! You should remember their ROCK'EN engagement session back from the fall!! We had had such a fantastic time with them then, that I couldn't wait until their big day, and they certainly didn't leave me disappointed!!
One of my favorite parts of their wedding was the location of their reception at the Ocean Lodge. A roof top venue overlooking the ocean, sigh... my favorite.

Crystal and Brett, I know you guys are anticipating this post with all your might! Thank you for being patient, and hopefully every photo is worth the wait! We were so thrilled to be a part of your wedding, and loved every minute of it!! much joy to you both!
Enjoy!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Crystal's Melissa Sweet dress....

I might have forgotten to mention, but Kim and I loved Crystal's lipstick so much that that next week we went right out to the Mac store to buy some!!

Their details were super fabulous!
