Kelly + Derrek

Would you believe me if I told you Kelly and Derrek met each other while playing TBall as little children!?! To know each other that long and to be getting married amazes me! I love the story so much, and truly hope that they end up telling their great grandchildren the story!
Kelly and Derrek were so in love and it was so obvious, especially looking through the lens. The way that Derrek looked at Kelly, you can just see that he would do anything for this woman. In addition to being in love, they are so freaking NICE! Kelly and Derrek are absolutely the most sweet and caring people we have met. They were both totally relaxed and seemed to truly enjoy their wedding day! It was an amazing day with lots of warm sunshine, amazing white puffy clouds, and good family and friends. After the ceremony we took a stroll through the walnut and peach orchards, and I must say, have captured the most amazing photographs! I can't wait to share!
Kelly and Derrek, we are so filled with gratitude to share in your wedding day with you two! You two were so kind to us, and treated us so welcoming-ly! Thank you for letting us steal you a way for little bit to capture the orchard photos! They are amazing, and hope you love them as much as we do! With much joy and blessings to you both!

I know this is a little different then we normally do, but I had just finished watching Across the Universe, and was in the mood for different! Thought it looked like a painting!

Peyton and Stuart

On the road again!!
We sing that song all the time and especially when we’re on the road again to St. Simon’s Island!!! It’s seriously one of our favorite places to go and Peyton and Stuart’s wedding was so worth the drive. They were married in the church where Peyton grew up which was really special and then the reception was held in an open air pavilion right next to the water. It was absolutely beautiful! Probably my favorite part of the day was getting to steal Peyton and Stuart away for a few minutes to walk down near the water right before the sunset. It was so perfect and I am so excited to show you some of my favorites!!
Peyton and Stuart, isn’t married life great!!!! I hope you are enjoying it and enjoying each other. Thank you both so much for inviting us to photograph such a special day!!

Loa and the cow!

Last week while I was photographing a wedding, AP and Loa got to go to Atlantafest at Stone Mountain Park. They had such a blast! Here were one of the photos of Loa and the Chick-Fil-A cow! She LOVES the cow so much! It made me smile, so thought I would share! alea

Ashley + ian

Firstly, I wanted to say thank you so much for all of you who are being so patient with us and our posting!! We have soooo many wonderful things to share with all of you, so we are working through the list! We promise yours is on there, and it WILL be posted soon!!
We know that when the wedding and honeymoon are over -- there is nothing like reliving the day through pictures!! So we are always excited to share the photos to make your day! My favorite part about Ashley and Ian's wedding was the colors! Everything POPPED! Kim and I always chat about what parts of weddings are our favorites, and I am definitely a flower girl! I love LOVE flowers, and especially when they are so bright and cheery! Ashley's bridesmaids dresses were a hue of my favorite color too! Ashley and Ian's reception was one of the most personal, musical, and family oriented receptions I've been at! Despite the fact that there were over 300 guests! whoo!
Ashley and Ian, what can I say, we love you both and were THRILLED beyond words to be part of your day :) We hope you love your photos and that they help you two relive your wedding day!

Carisa + Kevin

You guys may remember Carisa and Kevin from our contest back in October! They were our second place winners which got them a fabulous e-session with me! We had so much fun, and I could not wait for their wedding! Carisa and Kevin were both just glowing on the wedding day! And so was everyone around them. The whole wedding was just buzzing with excitement, joy and love. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Their wedding was at the Glendalough Manor down in Tyron, GA. It really was a stunning location with amazing gardens.
Congrats guys! It’s been so fun getting to know you and being a part of your wedding day. On to the preview…

my favorite part was their groomsmen went crazy overboard on decorating their car! literally wrapping it with an entire roll of saran wrap, and plenty of other strange things! It took Carisa and Kevin over 15 minutes just to open their doors!
