Alicia + Dorian

It has been a great couple of days!! We have had all kinds of surprises and good news lately!! We promise to share more later ;);) but for now just know that we are pretty happy in this camp! Going into a double header with weddings on both Saturday and Sunday we needed a little boost of energy and we surely got it!
Today I am super excited to share just a few (haha) images from Alicia and Dorian's beautifully intimate wedding! When I first met Alicia she shared with me that the wedding she was planning was for her close friends and family. No loud DJ and crazy dancing (which I love just as equaly :), just a lovely dinner with the people they love! And when we found out that they were having one long table for everyone, we knew it would be AWESOME!!! That is one of Alea's favorite things!! A singe long table covered in flowers, special linens and china. Who could ask for a more perfect place to eat :)

Gold Medal Anyone?

Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!!!!! We won a Gold Medal!!!
I'm sure a lot of you know that we are very proud to be members of the WPJA! We just love being a part of an organization that encourages us to be us and to capture amazing moments as they happen which isn't always an easy task! We share this honor along with many other wonderful photojournalists all over the world. (I feel like we are accepting an Emmy hehe!) Each quarter there is a friendly competition..... to see who has captured the best candid moment in several categories like getting ready, ceremony, receptions and kids!!!! And guess who won first place in the kids just being kids category!!!!!!

Have the rainy Monday Blues?? Well I might have a couple of things to cheer you up and make you smile or say WOW! The first thing I wanted to do was make you say WOW! You all need to go to Alea’s Facebook page and check out her crazy rushing rapids “stream” in the back yard!! She took a little video of her stream and it seriously makes me realize how much rain has really fallen out of the sky!!!... Which inspired us.... And made us feel a little giving!! In honor of all the rain, we are giving away a $10 Starbucks gift card so one lucky blog stalker can run out in their cute little rain boots and treat themselves to a Pumpkin Spice Latte and Berry Berry Reduced Fat Coffee Cake!! Or if one our manly men wins, he can hop in the car and on the way to get his very strong espresso, drive through the muddiest mud puddle he can find!! The last thing that hopefully will brighten your day are wedding photos!!! Meredith and Steve tied the knot a few weekends ago and I’m so excited to share some of our favs!! Their wedding day was so beautiful and every last detail showed how much preparation and care went into the day. If I were planning a wedding again, I would probably give Meredith and her mom a call to help me :)

Hi Friends!
Happy friday to all of you!! Are you as excited as I am that the sun seems to finally be peeking out!! I don't know about you, but I definitely have a seasonal disorder... and when it rains and rains... i want to sleep and sleep! But, no sleepy for me!! I am a worker bee! I am so excited to share these fabulous photos from my fam session with the dowlings!! Over the last year we have become great friends with the Dowling's... i think i have been nominated their family photographer, as well as, we have betrothed their youngest son, Eli, with my new little one, Adellie. They already make such a cute couple, I can't wait!! hee hee. Anyway, I am rambling! We've been trying to do the Baby Cakes session with them and photograph eli on his 3, 6, 9, 12... we got a little winded since he is already 5 months... but hey, you can never have too many cutie photos!!
Dowlings, you know how much I love you guys, and love so much to take your photos!! I am so excited for all those frames you have to fill, and cant wait to see how you fill them!! :)
